Is there a specific app that I need to use to send a text message to a South Korean mobile phone? Or, can any of the apps even send a text message to a South Korean mobile phone?
Oh, let’s say the number is 010-1234-5678; Do I do “82-10-1234-5678″?
Or, “011-82-10-1234-5678″?

Sending a text from one phone to the other simply requires that both phones are text-capable. You just send it to the other phone number.

Because South Korea has a specific country code, you’d have to send it to the whole number – so you’d dial 011 for overseas, and 82 for South Korea, and then the number.

We will assume that the other person can read English characters and that their phone has the ability to display English characters.

010 is the exit code for the US. I dont believe you have to do this when texting. so it should be enter 82…12345678.
