Prepaid Mobiles

I’m going to college in the fall, and I’m moving from Buffalo to NYC, so I’ll obviously need a reliable cell phone. I don’t currently have a working cell phone because my family’s budget is really tight right now and we couldn’t afford out plan with AT&T. But I really need a phone for school in the fall, but since I won’t have time to get a job, my parents are going to have to pay for my phone. My mom has been looking at different pay-as-you-go services, and they’re all either too expensive or they don’t give you nearly enough minutes per month. But I looked at Cricket Mobile, and they have a plan for unlimited talk and texting for $2 a day, or $30 a month. Since my mom would have to pay for both my phone and my sister’s phone, it would be $60 a month. Is this the cheapest plan we’ll be able to find? Is cricket pretty reliable? Where else could we get a cheap, reasonable, and reliable cell phone plan? Thanks!
Wait, I did the math wrong. It would be $60 per phone for unlimited talk and text, and $120 a month for me and my sister. Sorry…
And we don’t need a plan with unlimited everything. Just a plan with a reasonable amount of minutes and at least some texting.

5-can read pdf file(wich are more than 5MB)
6-camera is not important for me

8-if it is possible, TV reciver
9- if it is possible,TV out
10-if it is possible,audio out
11-it’s size and weight is not important for me
12-hands free

Except TV, Radio, Newspaper, Internet or Mobile phone.

My contract with Virgin mobile end this May and i am thinking of buying cell phone cards? Where do i get these and is it affordable as i am only using the phone for basic things. Please if you can also tell me about a CHEAP phone plan i might consider that too. I live in Toronto, thanks.
