I am planning to upgrade my current phone with T-Mobile to a Samsung A177 phone. It’s an AT&T phone but i will get it unlocked to use for T-Mobile. My question is if I would need to change my current plan with T-Mobiile to a data plan to use the Samsung A177.
I have a prepaid phone now from virgin mobile but i don’t really like the phone or the service. Does anyone know a good cheap service for a prepaid phone. I spend $50 a month now for 400 anytime minutes, unlimited nights/weekends and unlimited text. I want a better phone too like a blackberry or something. Let me know if you have any good suggestions. Thanks
I bought this cingular LG F9200 (it’s unlocked) and I bought a t-mobile SIM card for it. The phone is supposed to allow me access online and my email but doesn’t. Can someone please help me set this phone so it can at least go online properly?
Here is a BBC article about “The whereabouts of more than 100,000 mobile phone users have been tracked in an attempt to build a comprehensive picture of human movements.” Why do they want to know? Does anyone else consider this an invasion of privacy? here’s a link to the site I mentioned:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7433128.stm

I’m trying to contact a friend of mine who has a UK cell with my US cell and I’m not sure it’s going through, though my phone says the text message is. Do I need to use the +44 or whatever it is? I’ve been able to call landlines while here in the UK with my cell without using the code.
